Welcome to Mathematics Education at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½!

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ provides degrees and course offerings in mathematics education that aim to prepare future teachers, enhance the knowledge and skills of practicing teachers and practitioners, and prepare future mathematics education researchers and teacher educators. The mathematics education faculty at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ each has experience in rigorous research and classroom teaching. Our research focuses on the teaching and learning of mathematics. 

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is the largest university in Northeast Ohio. Located near both cities of Cleveland and Akron, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ has awarded doctoral degrees focusing on mathematics education for over 50 years, and has prepared teachers to teach mathematics in K-12 settings for over 100 years.
